What we might contact you about
These are some examples of what we’ll contact you about:
To confirm, reschedule, or cancel your appointment
To remind you about your appointment
To tell you that you have an outstanding balance on your account
To confirm you’ve bought something from our webshop, enrolled in a course, or made an enquiry
To let you know your test results and talk about next steps
To remind you that you’re due for cervical screening
A newsletter. webinar, workshop, or course that you’ve signed up to
We won’t contact you:
To ask for your bank account details
To ask personal questions – unless it’s about a recent appointment or results
When we’ll contact you
We’ll always phone during our normal working hours (Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm and Saturday, 9am until 1pm). We won’t call you late at night or on Sunday.
You might get a text or email outside of these times, as these are often sent automatically.
How we’ll contact you
We might call, email, or text you. How we get in touch with you depends what it’s about. For example:
We'll send an email when you book your appointment to let you know your appointment has been booked.
We’ll send a text reminder before your appointment. We will try to call you to confirm your appointment too
We’ll text you if your test results are normal. A nurse will call you if they’re not or if we need to talk about anything in more detail
We’ll text you to tell you about an outstanding balance on your account
Emails from us will come from:
An email address that ends in @sexualwellbeing.org.nz, like communication@sexualwellbeing.org.nz
An email address that looks like noreplyswa@mail.indici.nz.
Texts from us will come from:
The number 2858
Calls from us will come from:
A New Zealand phone number – normally starting with “07”.
